Good Morning Residents,
Kent Police is appealing for information following a burglary at Tesco Express in Southborough at around 3.11am on Wednesday 16 September 2026.
A man is reported to have broken into the premises and stolen a quantity of cash before leaving the area on foot in the direction of London Road.
As part of the ongoing investigation, we have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries. The image can be viewed using the link below:
I would be grateful if residents could share the appeal with family, friends and others within the local community. Although the image is not completely clear, somebody may recognise the man from his profile, clothing or general appearance.
If you recognise the man, witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or have CCTV, video doorbell from around the time of the incident, please contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 16-0094.
Even if you do not recognise the man, please consider checking any private CCTV or doorbell footage you may have from the early hours of 16 September, particularly if you live in or around St Andrews Park Road, London Road or the surrounding Southborough area.
Your information, however small it may seem, could assist with our enquiries.
