Dear Sir/Madam,

We are continuing to receive reports of issues involving e-scooters and e-bikes in the area.

Yesterday, your local officers stopped a person riding an e-scooter. The e-scooter has now been taken off the road.

This serves as a reminder that privately owned e-scooters are not road legal and cannot be used on public roads, pavements, or cycle lanes. They should only be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

Please make sure you are aware of the legislation before using an e-scooter to avoid enforcement action being taken.
