🚔 Addressing Anti-Social Vehicle Use at Strood Retail Park We are aware of ongoing concerns regarding anti-social vehicle use at Strood Retail Park, including reports of dangerous driving, racing, drifting, excessive noise and the unsafe use of motorcycles and off-road bikes. Local officers have been actively working to address these concerns through regular patrols, engagement with local businesses, partnership working and targeted enforcement activity. As a result of this work, officers have issued warnings, seized vehicles and taken enforcement action where offences have been identified. We have also reviewed incident data, identified peak times of offending and put measures in place to support a more proactive response. Patrols will continue to visit the area regularly, gather intelligence and take positive action against those responsible for anti-social or dangerous behaviour. We understand the impact this issue can have on local residents, businesses and visitors to the retail park, and we remain committed to tackling it. Information provided by members of the public continues to play a vital role in helping us identify offenders and build a clearer picture of the problem. If you witness anti-social vehicle use or dangerous driving, please continue to report it to Kent Police. In an emergency, or where there is an immediate risk to life, always call 999. Thank you to everyone who has reported concerns and supported our ongoing efforts to make Strood Retail Park a safer place for everyone. #Strood #Medway #CommunitySafety #AntiSocialBehaviour #KentPolice | ||
