🚔 Moped Seized Following Careless Riding

Whilst on patrol, officers observed a moped being ridden in an anti-social manner, including the rider performing wheelies on the public highway.

As a result, the moped was seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act, and the rider was issued with a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for careless driving.

We are robustly dealing with nuisance vehicles across our communities and will continue to take positive action against those who ride or drive in a manner that puts themselves and others at risk.
