Rogue Trading - The Interactive Challenge

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Other issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We have had reports of a young white male in a light suit, going around the Whitstable Community, attempting to sell cheap Gas and Electric. He is identifying himself as an employee of 'The Interactive Challenge'. Police have stopped the male and spoken to him about his behaviour, but residents should be aware for their own safety.

The male disclosed that there are multiple representatives doing door to door sales within the are. The legitimacy of the business cannot be confirmed, so in the meantime can residents please be weary of these people, and consider speaking to their own providers to ascertain clarity against offers.

Lastly, please don't forget about the use of 999/101 if behaviour is suspicious or unusual.

If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.kent.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
