Your top concerns: drug dealing |
||
|
Hello Resident,
We have been working hard to address the issues that matter most to residents in your area, one of which is drug dealing.
This week, the Community Safety Unit developed intelligence relating to a property in the Willesborough area. Officers observed a male leaving the address in a vehicle and behaving suspiciously. As a result, he was stopped and searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, during which a quantity of drugs was discovered in his vehicle. He was subsequently arrested.
Officers then returned to the property he had been seen leaving. Following further enquiries, two additional males were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. A search of the address resulted in the seizure of a further quantity of drugs, along with items commonly associated with drug dealing, including packaging materials and weighing scales.
This is a positive result made possible through proactive policing and the information and intelligence we receive from our communities. We will continue to act on information provided by the public to help keep our neighbourhoods safe.
If you see anything suspicious, no matter how small it may seem, please report it to us. In an emergency, always call 999. For non-emergency matters, you can report information online or by calling 101. Thank you for your continued support. | ||
