Criminal Damage in Woodland Walk.

Dear Resident,

Kent Police have been made aware of reports of damage to the benches in Woodland Walk including the theft of the memorial plaques. We share the frustration at this mindless behaviour and fully understand how upsetting this is for residents and in particular family members who have invested in the benches as a place of reflection in a tranquil community area.

Your borough councillor has been active with the local authority who have taken the benches away and are working on a plan to repair and restore them as soon as possible. We are liaising with each other to try and prevent any future issues when the benches are returned.

Woodland Walk is one of my favourite locations to patrol and it will continue to be visited as much as possible. Needless to say if anyone has any information regarding the damage or has seen any persons they feel are up to no good please do let us know.
