Ride, Hide, Collide: Nuisance Bike Rider Arrested Following Police Patrols

Neighbourhood Officers have been out patrolling the local area following reports of nuisance vehicles causing concern within the community.
 

While on Brookfield Road, officers spotted an off-road bike being ridden at significant speed. The rider appeared keen to engage officers in a game of hide and seek and swiftly disappeared from the area. Unfortunately for him, the game was over almost as quickly as it began when both the rider and bike were located in a nearby car park off Arlington.
 

Not ready to admit defeat, the rider then attempted a full-throttle dash past a police vehicle. The plan unravelled somewhat after a minor collision with the police car resulted in him parting company with his bike.
 

Undeterred, he then decided to continue his escape attempt on foot. This phase was equally unsuccessful, with officers swiftly catching up with and arresting him and the off road bike seized for no insurance.
 

As a result, the rider is under investigation for:
Careless driving
Driving without third-party insurance
Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence
