Thank you for raising your concerns regarding speeding on Liptrap's Lane, Sherwood. In response to concerns from local residents, neighbourhood officers have been carrying out Community Speedwatch activities in the area to monitor vehicle speeds and engage with drivers. These sessions help us identify whether speeding is a persistent issue and gather evidence to support further enforcement where necessary. There are also ongoing concerns in relation to HGV's exceeding the 7.5 T weight limit on the road which were addressed. The results from these operations are being reviewed and will help inform any future requests for additional enforcement measures, including support from the Mobile Camera Van (MCV) team. We appreciate residents taking the time to report concerns and will continue to monitor the situation. If you witness any other road safety issues, please continue to report them via the appropriate channels.
