Dear Resident

I wanted to make residents aware of a vehicle theft that has recently been reported in the Wincheap area.

The vehicle was stolen overnight despite being locked and with the keys still in the owner's possession. Whilst enquiries are ongoing, this suggests the offender(s) may have used an alternative method to gain entry to and start the vehicle.

Although incidents such as this are concerning, Wincheap continues to be a strong and community-minded area where residents routinely look out for one another. That vigilance is one of our most effective tools in preventing crime and identifying those responsible.

Information from residents is often crucial in helping us identify offenders and prevent further offences. Please continue to report anything that does not look right, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
