As part of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week, Kent Police is encouraging residents to understand what ASB is, how it can affect your quality of life, and what you can do if you are experiencing it. What is Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)? ASB is any behaviour that causes harassment, alarm, or distress to others. This can include: Persistent noise nuisanceDrug misuse or dealingVandalism or criminal damageIntimidation or threatening behaviourStreet drinking or disorder How can ASB impact your quality of life? ASB can have a serious impact on individuals, families, and communities. It can make people feel unsafe in their own homes, reduce community confidence, and affect mental wellbeing. What may seem like low-level behaviour can often escalate if not addressed. We take ASB seriously Kent Police, alongside local partners, is committed to tackling ASB and supporting victims. We use a range of measures including patrols, warnings, enforcement action, and partnership working to resolve issues and protect our communities. What can you do? Report incidents to Kent Police via 101 or online.
