A228 - Nuisance Motorbikes

Dear Residents,

We are well aware of the ongoing issues caused by motorbikes racing up and down the A228, most noticeably at East Peckham on a Thursday night.

We are pleased to report that on Thursday 25th June, following efforts from our Beat Officers, we have managed to identify 14 involved bikes and riders, all of whom have received Community Protection Warnings for their behaviour.

Whilst this is a positive outcome which we hope will reduce the ongoing issues, we will not be stopping our targeting of the area and will continue to monitor the roads for any anti-social behaviour.
