Off Road Bikes Seized at Charity Walk!

Today my colleagues and I took part in the Weald of Kent Rotary Club North Downs Walk. We raised over £370 for charity by completing a 9 mile route in full kit! The event was very well attended and we thoroughly enjoyed taking part alongside members of the community.

Whilst participating in the walk two off-road motorcycles that had been causing a nuisance and a danger in the area for several hours were found. Upon attempting to stop the riders, they tried to turn around and get away from us but were quickly detained with the following outcomes…

2 x motorbikes seized,

2 x Traffic Offence Reports for no insurance,

2 x Reports for careless/reckless driving,

2 x Section 59 warnings issued,

2 x crime reports for possession of cannabis.

and after that was all dealt with we finished the walk!
