|
Good evening, Resident,
This My Community Voice post is a follow-up to the overwhelming support received from my recent Speedwatch post covering a few locations. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to get in touch and highlight additional areas of concern within the community. I am currently reviewing the individual messages received and will assess the suggested locations. A survey will be conducted at each site to determine whether they are safe and suitable for future Community Speedwatch deployments. Please see the information below if you are interested in joining your local Community Speedwatch group.
๐ฆ Want to make a real difference in your community? Do you notice speeding where you live? Got an hour to spare? Join your local Community Speedwatch team! ๐ฅ Volunteers help reduce speeding and improve road safety with the support of Kent Police. Itโs simple: record vehicle speeds in your area and help make roads safer for everyone. โ Did you know? Around 94% of drivers seen speeding once by Speedwatch volunteers donโt do it again within 12 months in Kent! ๐ฒ Get involved today: Our engagement team may be visiting your area soonโkeep an eye out for event invites!
๐ If you found this post interesting or helpful, please show your support by giving it a thumbs up.
Many thanks,
