Arson in High Brooms

Good morning Residents,

As many of you will be aware, on Wednesday 6th May, a derelict building in High Brooms was deliberately set alight. Police patrols closed the road while Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews extinguished the blaze.  

At the time of the fire, three youths were reported to have been seen running in the direction of Grosvenor Park shortly after the blaze began. 

It is believed that someone within the local community will have information about those responsible. If you have any information, please contact Kent Police on 101, quoting reference 46/71972/26.

Additionally, if you have CCTV, doorbell footage, that may have captured the incident or any suspicious activity leading up to it, please get in contact.

This was a very serious incident. Thankfully, no one was injured, thanks to the quick and professional response of Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
