Prolific Shoplifter located and arrested

Good evening all,

Following a number of reported shoplifting incidents in the Watling Street area, PC Thetford has been proactively working with local retailers, conducting detailed CCTV enquiries, and pursuing multiple lines of investigation to identify the individual responsible.

As a result of this targeted work, a suspect has now been identified, located, and arrested in connection with multiple offences. The individual has since been remanded to court.

This outcome reflects our ongoing commitment to tackling retail crime and supporting local businesses. Kent Police take these offences seriously and will continue to take robust action against those responsible.
