Community Priorities Update |
||
|
Good morning residents, Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our recent survey. We are grateful for your feedback, which has helped us identify the key issues currently affecting our community. The main priorities highlighted by residents are road safety, anti-social behaviour, and fly-tipping. In response, we will be carrying out a series of speed checks across the rural villages over the coming weeks and months. If there are specific locations you would like us to focus on, please let us know via MCV. We continue to work closely with the local council to address fly-tipping and encourage residents to report incidents through the appropriate channels. This enables investigations and removals to be carried out as quickly and effectively as possible. Incidents of anti-social behaviour can be reported to the police by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency. Reports can also be made online or via live chat at www.kent.police.uk. Your local beat officers, PC Latter and PC Cartwright, will be conducting visible patrols in the area. Please feel free to approach them, say hello, and raise any concerns you may have. Finally, a reminder that our next local drop-in session will take place at Lamberhurst Village Hall on 20 May 2026 at 12:30pm. Everyone is welcome, and we look forward to seeing you there. | ||
