Community Update – Murston Area |
||
|
Dear Resident
Over the weekend, Kent Police received several reports of a quad bike being ridden in an anti‑social manner around the Murston area, particularly Oak Road and Broom Road.
Following enquiries, I was able to identify the rider and have now issued them with a Section 59 warning. This means that if this individual uses any vehicle in an anti‑social way—or is even a passenger in one doing so—within the next 12 months, the vehicle can be seized by police.
I’m aware that there are still others involved, and further work is ongoing to identify and deal with them. My hope is that word spreads that the risk of losing their bike or vehicle is very real, which in turn will help reduce these incidents. As always, these results are only possible because of your continued support and the reports you send in. Thank you for your help in keeping our community safe.
