Hollingbourne A20 Street Racing / Car Meets

Dear Resident,

Your Beat Officers PC Denney and I, are aware of several occurrences of car meets and illegal street racing taking place in Hollingbourne and the surrounding areas over the festive period. Please be assured that Police action is being taken.

So far, the registered owners of 13 vehicles involved have been contacted about this, and this work will continue. Our focus is on identifying repeat offenders and taking appropriate enforcement action against those individuals allowing their vehicles to be used for this sort of behaviour.

Your assistance remains vital. If you witness these activities, please report them to us as soon as possible using the non-emergency 101 phone number, online or through the Live Chat service on the Kent Police website, or through 999 if the situation is life threatening or an emergency. Any supporting evidence, such as CCTV or dashcam footage, is greatly appreciated and can help us take further action.
