LOCAL BEAT OFFICER UPDATE |
||
Good evening Resident,
Two weeks ago we lost PC 31207 ROWLEY who completed his probation and has left to start his new career on the Tonbridge Neighbour Task Force. He will be patrolling Tonbridge and Snodland high street. During the last two weeks we have seen a big increase in the number of 999 calls which has meant that we have been abstracted to assist the local policing team to help with this demand. The majority of these calls have still been in the Mallings area so we have still had a visble present in the areas I look after.
Both PC 15611 BROWN and I have attended an domestic incident, 2 criminal damage incidents, 2 incidents whereby members of the public have been assaulted, 1 road traffic collision and 2 mental health incidents (along with numerous other incidents that are not classed as 999 calls).
We have also dealt with a number of neighbour disputes and attended a council meeting in West Malling in relation to ongoing issues on Norman Road and surrowding areas. We have increased patrols along Kingfisher Road in Larkfield and dealt with drunk and disorderly behaviour at the Royal British Legion Village.
Most schools have now broken up for the summer holidays so we do expect an increase in anti social behaviour. Please ensure that these types of incidents are reported because if we are available we will attend and try and resolve this. ASB is offered referred to as low level crime however we know it can have a dramatic effect on individuals being targeted. Both PC BROWN and I cover quite a large area and are often abstracted to deal with 999 calls however where possible we will assist with local issues and attend fetes and community functions. If you have any community events you feel would benefit from police presence please get in contact with me.
Please enjoy your summer holidays.
Thanks
