Chipstead Lake

Dear Residents

We have recently been receiving calls about Anti-Social Behaviour ( ASB ) at Chipstead lake. This has included young people going out on the lake in boats / paddleboards without permission from the owners, and then being abusive when asked to leave. This sort of behaviour is not only unacceptable, it is also extremely dangerous and will not be tolerated.

We have already managed to identify some of the group, and they will be getting warning letters, these can be escalated if their behaviour continues, the rest of the group will also be dealt with once their identity has been clarified.

We will continue to work with the sailing and fishing clubs to reduce the ASB and make the lake a safe and enjoyable place for the members.
