Fraud Prevention Input

On 27th May 2025, Medway Community Safety Unit officers and Kent Police Prevention Coordinator hosted a successful Fraud & Scams Prevention Event at All Saints Church, Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, in partnership with the local charity MEGAN CIC.

Participants learned about various types of fraud and scams, the tactics used by fraudsters, and most importantly how to stay vigilant and protect themselves from fraudulent activities. Kent Police delivered valuable presentations, while service users of the MEGAN CIC had the opportunity to drop in and receive advice tailored to their needs.
