'Knife Crime' Lunchtime Stall at St Gregory's, Tunbridge Wells

Last Tuesday myself and PCSO Sarah STANLEY attended St GREGGS to engage with as many students as possible on the topic of ‘Knife Crime’.

We set up a stall with a selection of Knife Crime leaflets for the students to take away, and had some great conversations with the students too.

We talked about; ‘What counts as knife crime’?

- Carrying a knife in Public

- Threatening someone with a knife

- An incident where a victim is stabbed by a knife

- Buying a knife, including online, if you are under 18

We talked about the consequences of committing this criminal offence.

It was encouraging to hear that the majority of students feel safe in their community and had a good understanding of being a good Bystander.

Thank you St GREGGS for having us :-)
