Bike Marking at Stone Recreation Ground : Wed 28 May 11:30

Dear Resident,

Kent Police are holding a bike marking event at Stone Recreation Ground, London Road, Stone, Kent on Wednesday 28th May 2025 between 11:30am to 2:30pm.

Kent Police are aiming to help the public protect their bikes by giving them a unique reference number, and we will put a number on each bike brought along on the day. This unique number can then be uploaded to the relevant website ‘Bike Register - The National Cycle Database’.

The goal is that if Kent Police locate an abandoned or stolen bike, with the unique marking, we can input this into the database to return it to its rightful owner.

Kent Police are also aiming to provide other ways residents and users of the new bike pump track can keep themselves and their property safe following an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour at the location.

So please come along, bring a bike or just yourself and talk to a member of the team! We are excited to see you all!

Kind regards,
