Disruption of teen drug use in Hoo!

This weekend Neighbourhood task force PCSO’s have been assigned to Hoo to detour antisocial behaviour from the area.

Whilst on patrol yesterday PCSO Pearson and I received a tip off from a member of the public regarding youth drug activity in Kingshill recreation ground off Fourwents road.

Following the tip from the resident we attended the woodland within the recreational ground to find the group of youths. The group had made a small fire and were taking part in recreational drugs.

Although we were only able to catch one member of the group (as the others ran away very quickly) all the drugs and paraphernalia were left for us to seize and book in.

We have contacted the Council and Fire service to try and help us to stop this location being used in this way again.

We definitely ruined this groups Saturday night and are happy to disrupt any drug activity that we are tipped off about.
