Anti-Social Driving - A228 SNODLAND

Hello everybody,

There has been a significant increase in Anti-Social Drivers causing a nuisance to the residents of Snodland, with inconsiderate drivers racing up and down the A228, Holborough Road, revving their engines, driving recklessly, speeding and generally misbehaving, which is causing a lot of distress and annoyance to our locals. I, alongside other officers from Tonbridge Community Safety Unit and the Neighbourhood Task Force have been visibly present in the problem areas during the course of the night, and will be over the weekend with a view to stamping out this sort of behaviour. This behaviour will not be tolerated across the district and any drivers caught driving recklessly or in an anti-social manner will be dealt with robustly. Section 59 Warnings will be given out to those behaving inappropriately and ASB drivers also risk financial penalties if caught acting anti-socially, and could even have their vehicles taken off them!

I'd like to thank everybody for their patience on this matter as I know that it has been going on for some time. Please be assured that CSU and NTF are all working hard to stamp out ASB in the local areas.

Thank you all.
