E-Scooter Seized!

This week has seen the start of our new Beat Officer, PC Larsen. She has come to the Community Safety Unit with lots of experience already and has hit the ground running. Today whilst out on foot in Churchyard Passage has stopped a male riding an e-Scooter at speed as he went to barge past her.

He has quite rightly had his e-Scooter seized and been reported for the offences of Driving without a license due to being a provisional license holder and also for No insurance.

The use of e-Scooters in public is illegal and if caught, it will be seized and destroyed. See the following link for more information. Advice on e-scooter usage | Kent Police
