I would like to invite you to attend a Speedwatch information event, we are looking to start speedwatch in the area and this will give you the opporuntiy to meet the Kent Police Team who manage Speedwatch County Wide.

They will be here to answer any questions that you may have and explain the next steps of starting up a scheme.

Kent currently has around 3000 locations and 1900 volunteers who can deploy to monitor the speeds of traffic passing through thier communities, Kent Police may then generate a warning letter to the registered keeper of the vehicle. Any data gathered will be assessed for a period of 12 months and will help inform any pre-planned speed enforcement campaigns by local officers, our Road Safety Team or Roads Policing Team.
