Burglary/Vehicle Theft

Dear Resident,

There were burglaries at two addresses in Stoving Lane overnight between 26/03/2025 and 27/03/2025 whereby a Silver Racing Bike was stolen.  From CCTV the suspect appears to be a male trying door handles and windows, checking for insecurities.

There have also been recent reports of a group of males, believed to be unrelated to the above burglaries, trying car door handles in the Faversham area checking for insecurities and where there are, gaining access and stealing items.  Worse still, there was a theft of a motor vehicle from Brickearth Mews on 27/03/2025; unfortunately the vehicle was left unlocked.

These are ongoing police investigations and there is CCTV footage of all the incidents, however if anyone has any information on who may be involved in this type of crime, you can reply to this message or call 101 and quote police reference: *27-0225; you can do this anonymously should you rather.

Whilst we shouldn't have to protect our properties and possessions, there are things we can all do to prevent the opportunistic criminal.
