Nuisance bikes

Hello,

We are pleased to update everyone that thanks to reports regarding nuisance bikes the Tonbridge team seized two last week. Patrols are conducted in the reported areas to target the riders and on this occasion the bikes were seen on London Road near to the boys school. The bikes upon seeing police made off and the riders hid in a house however thanks to local residents alerting officers to the house the bikes were located and seized with the riders being dealt with appropriately.

We are fully aware that there are lots of these bikes in Tonbridge at the moment causing issues for residents and will keep trying to resolve the issue therefore please do report online or 101 when you see them as it helps us ensure that we can concentrate patrols in the correct locations.

Kind regards

Phil and Jack
