Nuisance Youths - Stop Search

Good afternoon

On Friday 21/03/25, following a report of youths discussing firing catapults at birds in Leysdown, a group of youths were seen in the area and detained for a stop search. Despite initially claiming they didn't have anything, various items including a knuckleduster were found. Parents were informed and an investigation is ongoing for possession of an offensive weapon. Our rural task force have also been made aware of the incident.

Incidents of this nature can be reported either on the Kent Police Website Report a wildlife crime | Kent Police or Report antisocial behaviour | Kent Police or by calling 101. If you believe there is a likelihood of damage being caused to property then call 999.

Kind regards
