West Kingsdown Parish Council- Church Woods

Good afternoon Resident,

This afternoon a meeting was held between West Kingsdown Parish Council and I regarding the ongoing nuisance vehicles and persons around the Church Woods and surrounding areas.

One key talking point was that residents tend to not report the vehicles and persons to Kent Police and only to the parish council. This results in a significant delay or the information not being passed over to us. Although I am aware of the ongoing nuisance due to correspondence from the parish council to myself and disseminate this to my colleagues, anyone else looking from within Kent Police will believe there are no calls meaning no issues in the area which isn't the case.

I understand some residents are frustrated in the length of time it takes to report these incidents, however without these reports coming to Kent Police, we are unaware of the scale of the incidents. We use the logs to pick out descriptions of vehicles and persons, a trend it time/location/entry and exit points and many more elements. It is Key we receive this information so we can attend the calls. Please take a minute to review the below links regarding nuisance vehicles and different ways to report the incidents to us.
