Witnesses are sought following a fatal road collision near #Wingham, east Kent.

At 8.30am on Tuesday 4 March 2025, a Yamaha motorcycle was involved in a collision with a grey Lexus car on the A257 at #Shatterling, between Wingham and #Ash.

Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The road was closed while officers responded to the incident and reopened shortly after 4pm.

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is carrying out enquiries and urge anyone who saw what happened or has relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
