Youth Engagement Event - Gaming Bus - Monday 17th February 2025

Dear Resident

There will be a gaming bus parked in the car park of Sittingbourne Library on Monday 17th February 2025 between 10:30 hours and 13:30 hours.  The gaming bus is FREE of charge and for children only; however police will be in attendance should anyone wish to come along to meet them and discuss any local issues.

Police will be engaging throughout and there will be some educational material focussing on ending street harassment towards women and girls, as seventy-five percent of girls and young women aged 12 to 21 across the country have experienced public sexual harassment from men and boys.  This has to stop and it starts with education.

Please come along to see us as it will be an informative but fun event and a good way to keep the children occupied for the first few hours of half-term.
