IAGs were created to challenge conventional thinking, to give an independent perspective on issues and to work as partners with Kent Police to inform improvements in service delivery. Membership aims to cover all diverse groups in Kent such as race, religion, LGBT+, disability, age and gender. The group support policing by: providing a link between the police and the communities of Kentsharing community feedback with the police and other agenciesgiving advice and support during critical incidents as required
