Motorbike recovered and suspected Dartford drug dealer charged

Good Afternoon,

A stolen motorbike has been recovered by alert community safety officers who spotted it being ridden without a number plate in Longfield.

The theft of the bike was reported from an address in Bexley after it was allegedly loaded into the rear of a van, on Saturday 18 January 2025.

Two days later a patrol in Station Road saw it pull up at a petrol station forecourt. The constables noted its missing number plate and approached the teenage boy who was riding it.

A search led to the seizure of a bag containing 24 deals of herbal cannabis and the teenager was arrested. The officers also seized two mobile phones, some cocaine and £60 in cash.

A 16 year old boy from Dartford was later charged with handling stolen property, possessing cannabis with intent to supply, possession of cocaine, disqualified driving and no insurance.
