Increase in Rural Crime

Good Afternoon,

We have seen a recent uplift in Rural crime in the past few weeks - specifically with Tools / Machinery and small off-road vehicles such as Gators or Mules being targeted across the rural areas.

Please take the time to ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly secured and access is limited as best as possible. Consider utilising floodlights, CCTV and motion sensors or sirens to limit opportunities for criminals, and make use of door bolts or chains if you can to restrict access.

Particularly please continue to report any suspicious sightings, particularly any sightings of small 4x4s you don't recognise or which seem suspicious.

Myself and PC DONEGAN can be contacted directly through this app if you want us to attend to provide any advice on security measures, however please report any incident via 101 or 999.
