Poaching

Good Afternoon Sevenoaks Wards,

There have been recent reports of poaching throughout rural areas. Yesterday police were called to reports of youths using catapults and ball bearings, to target Pheasants. Police were given a description as well as vehicle details, this allowed us to locate the offenders within the hour. Catapults were seized and criminal proceedings are ongoing.

We will continue to work to bring offenders to justice and reduce rural crime in the district. If you are aware of poaching taking place please call 999 immediately, and continue to provide accurate information. For further information please see the Kent Police Website: Rural crime prevention | Kent Police

Kind Regards

Harry
