There have been recent reports of poaching throughout rural areas. Yesterday police were called to reports of youths using catapults and ball bearings, to target Pheasants. Police were given a description as well as vehicle details, this allowed us to locate the offenders within the hour. Catapults were seized and criminal proceedings are ongoing. 

We will continue to work to bring offenders to justice and reduce rural crime in the district.
