Citizens in Policing: Kent volunteering Discovery Events throughout 2025


Good morning Resident,

Our Citizens in Policing team will be hosting discovery events throughout 2025 to promote volunteering opportunities across Kent Police.


The events will be an opportunity for you to find out about the following:

  • the role of police volunteers (special constables, community policing volunteers (equine and canine crime), police support volunteers, Community Speedwatch, volunteer police cadets and their leaders)

  • the skills volunteers bring to Kent Police

  • the health and wellbeing benefits of volunteering

  • the volunteer roles available including community policing volunteer, cadet leader, police support volunteer, community Speedwatch volunteer and special constable

  • how to apply

    Would you be interested in volunteering for a new challenge in 2025?
