Community Speedwatch Coffee Morning

Good morning Resident

Sandhurst benefits from an active Speedwatch team and I would like to formally invite you, or anyone you know interested, to meet your group on Thursday 12th December at 10:00 in Sandhurst village hall.

We will be in attendance as well as a camera van from the Kent and Medway Safety Camera Partnership.

You will be able to meet your group of volunteers, ask questions, see the equipment they use and receive updates on speed enforcement/action in the village.

You will also be able to find out how you can join the Speedwatch team and be a part of this fantastic road safety group and contribute toward making Sandhurst’s safer for all.

What do I have to commit to hours wise? All you need is to be able to commit an hour of your time whenever your able, this could be an hour a week, month or even a few hours a year, it all helps.

There is no age limit, you just have to be over the age of 18 and there is no complicated vetting and training is simple and easy to understand.

To date, Kent Community Speedwatch has over 100 active groups operating over the county making a real difference in the areas they operate.

If your concerned about the speed issue in Sandhurst, or would just like an update with what’s been going on, pop along and I hope to see you there.
