Motorbike thefts

Dear Resident,

The issue of motorbike and vehicle thefts is regularly raised as an issue at Police surgeries across Medway hence a further post to my recent one to ensure residents are kept updated. Today a further two persons have been arrested for burglary, with 3 motorbikes recovered after they were stolen in Chatham.

Also, following a report of suspicious activity in the Borstal area, beat officers attended, challenged a rider on a stolen moped and this has now been recovered with further enquiries underway.

If you spot something suspicious, please let us know as quickly as possible so we can continue with our work to reduce this issue across our Medway towns. Sometimes the smallest bits of information help us to build the bigger picture.

As always, please feel free to share this post onwards.

Kind regards

Rob
