Shoplifter caught in the act!

Yesterday whilst out and about, we spotted a known shoplifter in the Jemmet Road area of Ashford and after a short game of hide and seek, we managed to pick him up again on the other side of Victoria Park. The male was detained for a search and found in possession of 5 XL bags of Ariel washing pods which we suspected were stolen. He was arrested for another Shoplifting from late last month elsewhere in Kent and whilst in Custody we managed to identify the shop he had visited today. It turns out, we bumped into him only 15 minutes after he had ran out the doors with the stolen property. The good news is that he has been interviewed, charged with two counts of Theft Shoplifting and has been remanded to Court. The better news is that the items were recovered in good condition and are going to be returned to the store today! All in all, a good result for all.
