On Friday, 6th Sep 2024, Local Officer for Gillingham PC Ranaweera and Kent Police Community Liaison Officer Rosie Palmer attended the 10th anniversary celebration at the Nasir Mosque in Gillingham. It was an amazing evening where different faith representatives, community leaders and various community groups got together to celebrate the Mosque's milestone. The event was colourful with presentations of how the Mosque built over the years and the contribution it has made towards the local community over the years. The evening was followed by a banquet of food and an opportunity to connect and have great conversations.
