RECENT SPATE OF BURGLARIES IN MEOPHAM

Dear Residents,

I wanted to bring to your attention, a recent spate of burglaries that have occurred in the Meopham area over the last week, most notably the 23/04/24. Several properties, including dwellings, sheds and outbuildings have been targeted. Items such as hand tools, power tools, sit on mowers, and motor vehicles have been stolen from various properties. Crime reports are being managed by officers and lines of enquiry being followed up to try to identify offenders.

Please be assured that your local policing team are increasing patrols in the area, I will be visiting victims of crime and offering safety advice and support.

Please be vigilant and report to Police any suspicious activity. Lock doors, windows and set alarms if you have them. Make sure any cctv is working and on. Keep keys to vehicles in a safe place out of sight.

Best regards
