Suspicious male

Good afternoon all.

Just a quick appeal regarding a suspicious incident that took place on 31/01/2024 between 21:45-21:55 at the junction of Littlestone Road/Marine Parade.

I am appealing for anyone who saw a white male, described as approx. 45 years old, 5 feet 10" tall, wearing glasses and a hat that wasn't a baseball cap, black jacket, long trousers (not jeans) on that junction or in the immediate area around the stated times to contact me especially if you have any CCTV or Dash-Cam footage.

This is nothing for you to be alarmed about but as with any crime prevention advice that I give, I tailor it to that particular crime or suspicious event and in this case it was more of a suspicious event.

I would like to remind all drivers to keep your doors locked on your vehicles when you are driving, most modern vehicles have settings on them whereby the central locking locks itself after a few miles an hour and this can be adjusted in your vehicles settings, if you don't have this you can always manually lock your doors.

As I said above, this is not to alarm anyone but just to be 'aware' as we should always be aware of our surroundings wherever we are.

This appears to be an isolated incident.

You can contact me via My Community Voice (MCV) or 13183@kent.police.uk and it's always helpful when you share my posts on social media so thanks in advance.

Thank you.

Steve.
