I am sad to report that there has been an increase within the area of vehicle crime and damage, hence, just would like to offer a few words of advice. The main "wanted" items are tools both from vans and cars, can i suggest that power and hand tools that are easily removable are taken indoors at night, and maybe one of those stickers that say "no tools left in vehicle overnight" would also be a deterrent. On vehicles getting damaged, difficult one, but try and park in a lighted area if you can, perhaps consider on board CCTV (dash cams) with a notice displayed stating that the vehicle is covered. If you have CCTV at your home, perhaps adjust it so it covers your vehicle. These simple measures may prevent you have a problem.
