On the 3rd of Aug 2024 Kent Police joined the hundreds that turned out for Medway Culture Club (MCC) carnival at the Woodlands Youth Centre in Gillingham. This annual celebration returned for the fourth year with a mission to champion diversity in Medway. PS CROOK, PC GOODSALL & PC RANAWEERA joined the celebrations which was full of dance, music, food & costumes. Kent Police took this opportunity to engage with the public and listen to their concerns, make contact with other local charities and promote ‘My Community Voice’. It was a wonderful community event and we would like to thank the Chairwoman of this charity (MCC), Camealia Xavier-Chihota for the invite.
